Shrimp Alfredo




For the Shrimp:

    1 tsp        Black pepper

    1 tsp        Paprika

    10-12 ea Shrimp, peeled, deveined, raw

For the Pasta:

    2 serv.     Pasta of choice

For the Alfredo:

    4 oz.       Parmesan cheese, freshly grated

    4 tbsp.    Butter

    1 ladle    Pasta water

For the Garlic Bread

    1 ea       Loaf of fresh bread

    3 ea       Cloves of garlic, grated or crushed

    4 tbsp.   Butter, softened

   Optional: chopped parsley, black pepper

 

For the Shrimp Alfredo:
    1. Toss shrimp in spices.
    2. Heat pan with a mild amount of oil and fry shrimp on both sides till white.
    3. Remove from heat.
    4. Heat and salt water then cook pasta until nearly done.
    5. Move pasta to heated sauté pan.
    6. Mix butter, parmesan, and pasta water into pan with pasta until a sauce forms.
    7. Combine with shrimp

For the Garlic Bread:
    1. Cut bread in half lengthwise
    2. Mix grated garlic with butter until evenly distributed
    3. Spread generously over open faces of bread
    4. Bake in oven at 325F until butter is melted and edges are crunchy
